Offerta n. 2012/030 – The IUCN (the International Union for Conservation of Nature) is looking for a highly motivated intern for a period of 6 months to assist with various activities and the daily functioning of the office. The focus of the internship will be on assisting the EU Liaison Project Officer in accessing EU funding for the IUCN global network and in reporting on the EU activity under the Development Cooperation policy. Some of the specific tasks are: 1) Research on EU policy developments and EU funding instruments; 2) Issue two editions of the “EU Update Newsletter” and a “Funding information update” twice a month; 3) Represent IUCN at meetings in the European Parliament, the European Commission and other organizations, and report on the outcomes.
