The service department International Relations and Project Service is looking for a Senior collaborator for the financial management of EU projects
Profile: university education, experience in accounting EU-Projects (e.g. Interreg Territorial Cooperation), basic knowledge and experience with Italian accounting procedures and controlling is an advantage. Very good language skills in English, very good language skills in German and/or Italian, very good computer skills (esp. Excel).
The collaborator has to support the research institutes in the financial and administrative management of EU-Projects: drafting of budgets for research projects, ontrol the eligibility of expenses under the programme guidelines (application of programme guidelines), preparation of documentation for project reporting, preparation of and assistance to research institutes for external audits.

The NWE Programme is currently looking for a Project Monitoring Officer (on a short-term contract starting as soon as possible and ending on 30 September 2014). This is a challenging opportunity to join an international team working in the field of territorial and regional development. The main tasks will evolve around project implementation with the follow up of a portfolio of 15 projects. The successful candidate will have: – a second year Master’s degree in a relevant field of education; – a high level of proficiency and fluency in English and a good knowledge of another NWE official language (French, Dutch, German); – ideally a minimum 2 year demonstrated experience in EU territorial development/planning systems and policies, showing knowledge of EU Cohesion policy, structural funds and EU strategies, such as EU2020.
