A turkish research and business organization is recruiting a European Advisor. Her/his respnsabilities are: a) closely monitoring the latest developments in the European Research Area and provide policy advice to the organization and its stakeholders; developing strategic analysis in terms of Turkey’s participation to relevant EU programmes, such as EU Research and Innovation Framework Programmes (Horizon 2020) and COSME; writing technical reports, guidelines and other materials; organizing and assisting conferences and events on behalf of the organization. Candidates re expected to hold a University degree or higher; sound knowledge of the European Institutions and decision making process; knowledge of the European Policies within the scope of the Lisbon Strategy, with a focus on “Research and Technological Development”; experience in European project management (specifically the EU Framework Programs: FP7, Horizon 2020 or COSME) would be an asset; fluent in English, both written and spoken; 3 years working experience. As a non-profit organization committed to the prevention of child abuse and neglect, Telefono Azzurro (TA) is a reference point for young children and adolescents in difficulty and at risk. Telefono Azzurro is strongly involved in advocating children’s rights and promoting a children’s culture within the society, by collaborating closely with local, national and international institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, creative and highly organized individual who has an excellent understanding of EU funding and of international/national donors. The Project Manager will work in Telefono Azzurro’s headquarter based in Modena, Italy. The role will involve monitor and work proactively to identify funding opportunities at EU, international and national level, by conducting research and developing relevant partnerships; developing and writing of new project proposals, in the framework of EU policies relevant for the association and in the framework of international and national donors; management of international projects (WPs implementation, budget monitoring). General qualifications: a) well acquainted with EU policies, programs and actors, with particular focus on child rights, child protection issues; b) knowledge of Project Cycle Management and key funding instruments; c) interest in the mission and values of Telefono Azzurro ONLUS; d) ability to work independently and proactively eliability, flexibility and capacity to prioritize; e) strong organizational skills, ability to undertake travel and work flexible hours, excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian (C1). Education: Master’s level degree. Minimum Work Experience: 3 years.

The College of Europe is looking for a Project Manager to join its Development Office in Bruges, Belgium. The Development Office is the College of Europe’s main link for developing training courses, projects and other professional services for and with individuals, universities, public bodies, companies and organisations worldwide. The Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, negotiating and managing projects with international partners of the College of Europe. He/she will work in close cooperation with the other Project Managers, Assistants and Project Coordinator. Main tasks and responsibilities include: a) Writing tenders and project applications in English; b) Liaising with experts, professors, trainers, participants and partners worldwide; c) Implementing and coordinating projects and training seminars; d) Finding new initiatives and opportunities for business development; e) Attending meetings and events including travel; f) Budgeting and reporting.

Required profile: University degree (in European studies, law, economics, political sciences or international relations) and a postgraduate degree in EU affairs; at least 3 years of relevant professional experience in project management proving a very good understanding of the EU and its institutions; knowledge of and relevant experience with tendering procedures ((in particular: calls for tender / service contracts, technical assistance projects (EuropeAid), framework contracts, etc..); excellent English writing skills (candidates not complying with the requested level will not be considered); excellent French writing skills and other languages are considered as an asset.
