Dear VIU, LGI is a successful innovation management consultancy based in Paris and Brussels, with staff in Lille, Marseille and Montpellier. Over its 10 years of existence, the firm has been involved in a variety of projects, ranging from research & technological development to organisational & IT projects. We are currently looking to recruit a Junior Consultant in project management.
The Junior Consultant will be involved as a project assistant, in particular for collaborative research or innovation schemes, such as the EU Framework Programmes. He/she will assist the senior consultants in charge of the projects. Projects are typically European collaborative projects related to technological development, in various sectors (energy, transport, security…) and involving several companies or R&D centres in Europe.
The job duties include:
- administrative and financial management, direct contact and first level of assistance to the project partners,
- gathering updated information to monitor and report on the progress and the finance of the project,
- completing submission and reporting forms, assistance in organising events.
In order to be considered for this position, any successful candidates must: a) have a degree in European project management (Master in Europrogettazione), or demonstrated knowledge and experience with the management of European-funded R&D and innovation (e.g. Framework Programmes FP7; H2020). Be fluent in English and French. Show ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects in an international and fast-moving work environment. Have financial planning / budgeting skills.
Preferably he/she will have experience in the energy, transport, environment or security sectors, and be fluent in at least one other EU language in addition to French and English
